The International Comic Artist Seminar has taken place in connection with the Erlangen International Comic Salon since 1986 and it is one-of-a-kind. The seminar is attended by about 20 participants with previous knowledge of drawing and is organised by the agency Contours and conducted by Paul Derouet and two internationally established comics artists. The tutors in this year are the comic artists Barbara Yelin (Riekes Notizen, Gift), Lukas Jüliger (Vakuum) and Mawil (Action Sorgenkind, Strandsafari).
